What sort of sofa is best for a small living room?

I’ve just moved to Amsterdam and my flat is quite small (40 m²). I’d like to know what sort of sofa you’d recommend.

Ideally, I’m looking for an L-shaped sofa to fit into the corner of my living room. What do you think of velvet as a fabric?

Is it easy to clean? 🤔

    I have the corner sofa from Maison Vittori, and it fits perfectly in my 48 m² apartment.

    Yes, with a little soap and water, the velvet cleans up very well
